Rosso Supremo Il Torchio
Grape Variety 100% Bonarda/Croatina
Typical of the Oltrepo Pavese region in northern Italy. It is ruby red in color and its bouquet reminiscent of blackberry jam. This medium-bodied red wine is produced from croatina grapes. It is dry and fruitful while mildly tannic.
Croatina is cultivated on the hills of the Oltrepo Pavese and Colli Piacentini found on the border between two regions, Lombardia and Emilia Romagna. Rosso Supremo pairs well with grilled meats or aged cheese as well as salami or dried sausage.
